In my day job, I aim to secure value for money in all goods and services I procure maximising efficiency and economy in all expenditures. I know the challenges our small business community faces from running my small beauty business for 6 years and my podcast furthering community cohesion.
Following the Sikh value of community service, I volunteer with a local P&C, Community Radio and Bayswater SES. I am a City’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee member and have been raising community issues in the Council meetings.

My vision is to enhance community participation and wellbeing making Bayswater a vibrant place to live, work and recreate. If elected, I will:

Refocus City’s activities to its core activities securing value for money. The City reported a $3.7m deficit in 2023 and cannot continue running at a loss hoping for increased rates to pay for the shortfall.

Advocate for a collaborative upgrade to Morley Town Centre benefiting from upcoming Galleria redevelopment

advocate making our shopping strips a destination of choice for economic activity connected by multiple transport options.

Expand City roads, lanes and place naming to include multicultural names

Fight for well-maintained parks and sporting facilities focusing on youth activities

Modernise Morley Library and surrounding amenities along Coventry Village
